If you would like to trade in books at the Blue Griffin, we will give you store credit for the books you trade in. When you bring in a book, we give you an in-store credit for half the amount we'd sell the book for in the store. We record this credit under your name in our system and you can use it to purchase other books from the store.

Your credit does not expire, and you can use store credit to pay for in-store stock, excluding work by local authors and Star Wars Miniatures. Store credit cannot be used for online and ebay store sales.

3 Kinds of Credit
You can bring in any books, magazines, movies, puzzles, or games (with all of the pieces, please) to trade for credit. This is referred to as General Credit, and you can use it to buy anything on the floor (including hardcover fiction and pocket romance).

Hardcover Fiction Credit- you are given a hardcover fiction credit if you trade in a hardcover fiction book or a trade paperback. You can use Hardcover Fiction Credit only to purchase other hardcover fiction or trade paperbacks.

Pocket Romance Credit- you are given Pocket Romance Credit if you trade in pocket romance books. Two pocket romance equals one when you trade. You can use Pocket Romance Credit only to purchase other Pocket Romance.
